I’m a bit surprised I haven’t found any crack fic dealing with this. Like, Charles would be dying for the umpteenth time and Erik would be clutching at him desperately and being all DO NOT LEAVE MEEEE, while the Brotherhood and the X-Men would all be sitting somewhere exchanging gossip good naturedly, because seriously, they’ve seen it all before. Also, there’s a betting pool about how Charles is going to die next or something.
